Selling our AMZN and ROKU put contracts to lock in profits.
Shares of both AMZN and ROKU are lower today, and both positions are sitting on decent profits.
The overall market is oversold and appears to be ready to bounce. Today’s weakness didn’t result in a more fearful selloff which is a good sign.
We’ll close both of these positions to lock in our profits and free up cash for new opportunities. This will leave our account with a more bullish position which is appropriate given the potential for a bear market rally.
